States & 18th Birthday

Well it’s April now, and looks like I’ve missed a lot of posting since Regionals, we won! Going to states was a lot of fun,although two days with a bunch of cheerleaders meant TOO MUCH drama. The boys made it past the first night against Weir, then we pretty well beat ourselves the next night against Wyoming East! It was also my 18th birthday (3-20) which makes me a legal beagel haha.. we’ve as of yet to celebrate anything, the girls have some big surprise planned, so I trust them lol Everything ‘s so busy with baseball, Easter , and prom & graduation coming up..I think it’s starting to hit me how much I’m going to miss everybody

Well, today is all or nothing! Evvvvverybody is so pumped, hope Poca is coming as ready as we are. I’ve never seen Tug Valley so excited; we’ve made tons of signs, they’re painting their faces and bodies, just anything we can do to support the boys. If feels like were so close, but so far..Let’s just hope TV makes it to state!

Prom

well, I got my prom dress Saturday, it was a very hard decision! Yet, I figured a lot of people would have leopord print, so I chose my alternative, I’m happy with my dress, so I’m not going to torture myself by asking if it was the right one or not a million times over..haha It’s only March 3rd, and we’re enjoying 70-60 degree weather, so hopefully May 15 will be verrry warm

Valentine’s Day

Valetine’s Day was the sweetest! When I got home from Williamson, Gideon suprised me with Mario/Sonic Olympic games, a stuffed dog , and a HUGE hershey bar! haha & he also took me to dinner at Logan’s Roadhouse in Charleston which was grrrrreat. Then, Keisha, Jarrod, Gideon, and I got together and played Buzz word, which was pretty hard, but fun.

buuut, the weekend is over with, and i don’t feel so good today..my eyes are puffy, my throat is pretty sore, and i’m goina fall over in my seat..so thank God we don’t have a game today & i can rest!

Semester Exams!

Semester Exams are driving me nuts! I’m just goina pray that I do good, and that they end SOON! The week off for SNOW DAYS was great, but I’ve hated coming back to all these tests. I’m thinking about switching my schedule around, but we’ll see.

Well, Christmas has come and gone, and the new year seems to be flying by already.. I loved the holidays, Gideon slipped a promise ring on my finger on the New Year countdown! It was definitely the sweetest thing lol..I can’t believe it’s already the middle of January. I’ve had ballgames left and right…the boys are 7-2, maybe we’ll make it to state this yr??? we’ll see!

School for Nerds !

Whoooa, it’s almost been a month since my last post. Shew, I haven’t had a break since August. I’m juggling about three different practices, and it’s about to gut me! lol Basketball season is getting ready to start and cheerleading hasn’t slowed down much. We are getting ready to do a play called School For Nerds, which I think will be somewhat funny, then my church wants to do a Christmas program pretty soon. Although, I guess I can say I’m never bored. I’ve had to record all my favorite Christmas specials ) I hope I find time soon to watch them! Christmas break will be a relief!

Thanksgiving is almost here! I’m very excited to see all the family and eat papaw’s dressing (THE BEST DRESSING IN THE WORLD!!) November has been a busy month so far,,competitions, Beta coming up this weekend, and then the thanksgiving holiday itself will be the 27th..Mom will be jerkin’ out the Christmas decorations, she’s itching to now, but I told her we HAVE to wait lol…but yea, i’m pretty much blabbing on about nothing…later

Cheerleading Competition

Well cheerleading competition has come and gone. We had an awesome routine that would’ve well taken us to states. Warm-up it was clear that all it took was hitting the routine to take home the Regional Champs Trophey. BUT, I guess it just wasn’t our year. I hope and pray we can redeem ourselves next yr. Basketball season is all that’s left now, maybe we’ll make it further than what we have in ”fall” sports.

Election ’08

As of November 4, 2008, Barack Obama became our new president. I can’t say enough how disappointed I am at this result. Regardless, we still need to press forward, prayer for our country and our new president is probably the only real concrete we cant depend on now. Whatever the outcome, the Lord’s will be done.
